In late July 2006, 15 folks from as far away as Calgary and Montreal travelled to Lasqueti.
For ten warm and sunny days we spent our mornings learning natural building while doing finishing work on Jen's retreat cabin and building a driftwood and recycled tire roof woodshed. In the afternoons we learned various skills related to sustainable living on the land while working on rainwater catchment, gray-water systems gardening, herbal medicine, alternative energy systems, and material salvaging. It was an amazing ten days of sharing knowledge skills, inspiration and beautiful moments.
