In the Summer of 2009, The Mudgirls and a gang of participants came together to work on Molly and Arthur's cob home on Saltspring Island. Experimental building techniques include a two-tiered bed platform and cobbed-in rungs for a ladder.

In the Summer of 2009, Rose Dickson facilitated the building of a cob bench at the Nanaimo Community Gardens. The Bench is located next door to the parking lot behind the Foodshare Center at 271 Pine St., just up the hill from downtown Nanaimo.

In the Fall of 2008 the Mudgirls held a workshop to build a lovely cob and cordwood cabin made 99.9% from natural or recycled materials, with materials costing less than $2000. The workshop brought together 10 Mudgirls, 17 participants, 3 infants, 4 toddlers and 2 older kids, 5 dogs and two cats with participants from as near as Lasqueti and as far away as Toronto for a whole week of work, sharing and camaraderie! Great Revolutionary work gals!
