Petra is a Lasqueti Mudgirl, school teacher, and a circus performer. We assembled last May to build her and her little son Nicholas' out house. It was our first load bearing cob structure (cob walls support the roof). It took about four days to complete. Petra came up with a beautiful bottle design. We split cedar shakes and Petra built herself a shake roof, which we raised up and placed on the walls when they were dry. The outhouse was built with two seats. His and Hers, with arched windows at their respective eye level. It could just be the secret to potty training!
