the liner, and once some of the women built an awesome ramp, we began to wheel barrow soil up on to the roof. We brought in gravel for the sub-floor, and on the last day, we laid a section of earthen floor, mixed up plaster and earth paint and everyone got a chance to try it out. On the last night we ate pizza from the dragon oven and the women presented their plans for projects using the skills they learned here with the Mudgirls. Plans ranged from a tree- mounted pulley system to haul material to the site, cob hot tubs, greenhouses and even plans for the start of the Prince George Mud Girls Collective!

The second public workshop took place in late September 2005. Fifteen more eager, hard working women came to learn the magical art of
cobbing
and help finish up my cabin. We continued building up the walls, using
more
bottles and making nooks and shelves and sculpture. We arched over the
windows using forms made out of 2x4s and roofing tin from the dump, and
made lintels over the opening windows. Lots of material was hauled to the site
by wheelbarrow and strong strong women! We did work on the roof, trimming
sheathing, mounting fascia, then laying
