We also offer assistance with larger projects (a week or more) such as homes, cabins and garden sheds. Another option is that the MudGirls can organize and facilitate a workshop at your home during which we will share the skills of natural building with you and other participants while working on your very own natural structure. You too can learn to build naturally! The goal of the Mud Girls Natural Building Collective is to promote sustainable housing through the techniques of natural building. For more information contact us! Do you love what you've seen here and want to support the building revolution? Your donations will be put to good use!
The Mudgirls as an entity is not-for-profit. Although individual Mudgirls earn a wage for work, we all volunteer countless hours to running the collective. If you would like to support us with a donation, it would be applied to the cause of your choice. Options include sponsoring a participant who would otherwise be unable to learn from us, purchasing safety equipment, building for someone in need, or covering administration costs.
If you are interested in helping out, make a donation to the Mudgirls!

There are crews of trained MudGirls for hire, who can come to your location and help you realize your dream of building a natural structure: offering books and referrals to engineers, architects, and other professionals in natural building; helping you source natural and recycled materials; and providing the labour necessary to help you complete your structure.
Some ideas for small, (five-day or less) projects would be an earth oven, outhouse, generator shed, meditation hut, cookie stand, or a covered bench. We are also able to do retrofits or eco-renovations of existing conventional homes with, for example, materials like natural paints and plasters and alternative insulation such as straw or wool.
