Cookie Stands are a local phenomenon. Darzo, Lasqueti Mudgirl and musician has been selling her baked goodies and garden produce for years at a stand but wanted to build a new one, a cob one! It took three rainy days in March. The driftwood post and beam roof structure was in place before we started. We cobbed in cordwood and coloured glass bottles and got really creative with broken tiles. Lots of passers by stopped and visited while we built. The roof is made of red metal. Darzo has now grown a living roof on top of the metal roof!
